Meet Dr. Douglas Horton , DDS

Dr. Doug Horton was born and raised in Osage, Iowa. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree at Iowa State University in 1972 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at The University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1976. Dr. Horton has been practicing in the Cedar Rapids area since 1977.

He enjoys working with his son, Ben, and the rest of the staff at Horton Family Dental. Dr. Horton is an adjunct Associate Professor at the College of Dentistry, past President of the Iowa Dental Association University District, past Trustee of the Iowa Dental Association, a Diplomat of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, and a member of the American Association of Implant Dentistry. He volunteers his time at the Eastern Iowa Dental Center twice a month. 

In his free time, Dr. Horton enjoys aviation, projects at home, singing with The Harmony Hawks and playing with his 8 grandchildren.
