I have been seeing Dr. Doug since I was a small child in the 1980’s. As an adult, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The dentists I have gone to when I’ve lived away from Iowa did not do nearly so good a job. I found myself making special trips back home when it was time for a cleaning or I was in urgent need of dental care, such as the time I chipped a tooth when I was out of state at college. Their staff are professional but friendly, and they have always been good at answering my questions. I only had one problem with one staff member, and that was resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. Would recommend Horton Family Dental to anyone.

Dr. Horton Sr. gave my husband's awesome smile back to me. For that, he has my eternal gratitude. His staff, every one of them, are friendly, professional, and very good at what the do. Horton Family Dental is an exceptional family dentistry in the true sense of the phrase. They are friendly, communicative and answer all of the questions they are asked. Father/Son Dentists always will let you know what they're doing, why they're doing it and what to expect. Their expert staff are friendly and professional and make an effort to know your name. Their Hygienists are top of the line and professional and always make you feel welcome and comfortable. A trip to the Dentist is no longer a negative thing when you are being cared for by Horton Family Dentists. Just one thing though, why do they only ask you a question when your mouth is full of equipment and/or fingers???
