Unfortunately my experience at Horton Family Dental has been very poor. I had a crown completed this year (2018). The temporary crown fell off multiple times while waiting for my permanent crown, for which there was a more than two week turnaround. I had the permanent crown for a few months and it came off during a trip to Europe in May! I would have expected a permanent crown to last much longer, but given the clear pattern, I guess I should not have been. In addition, the dentist spent much of his time chatting with the hygienist rather than keeping me informed on his progress during appointments. The office charged me more than they originally stated for the crown. More than a month later they sent a check to me because they'd over billed me. It's a very nice facility, but I have no confidence they'll do things correctly with the patient in mind. I just got the reminder on my 6 month cleaning, only to be told after the dentist would not be in and they'd have to re-book. I’ll be looking for a new dentist this week.. There have just been two many problems for routine visits for one cleaning and one crown.

Always a pleasure to go to the Horton Family Dental practice. I can't believe I can say that. The front staff knows you and are very courteous. The dental assistants are very personable and Dr. Ben is always concerned about your comfort. What a find for my husband and I. My husband made his first visit there yesterday after having a bad experience with another practice who had told him that he had 2 cavities. There was no cavity to be found. Kinda sad that other dentists are not so honest.
