I had a concern of food getting stuck in a filling that fell out. The tech told me “it doesn’t look like anything came out” even though they agreed it has a ditched look where I clearly have missing filling. They said they could fill it but since the tech said “it doesn’t look like anything came out” she made me feel like I was lying so If everything looked great why would I agree to an unnecessary procedure of having it replaced and corrected so food no longer got stuck? My family member is a dentist and said this clearly fell out after my most recent cleaning from them they loosened it causing it to fall out and now have food get sick which in the future could cause decay and me having a bigger issue such as needing a crown. Very upset this was the techs comment to me not even the dentist.
